// About
Unbridled Automation Group is a boutique consulting firm founded by practitioners who have spent careers inside large manufacturing organizations — designing, building, and operating automation at scale.
We don't arrive with slide decks and leave with invoices. We engage as operators: embedded, accountable, and focused on outcomes that survive contact with the real factory floor.
Our principal, Trent Ingrim, brings 20+ years of senior manufacturing automation leadership from inside Fortune 500 organizations — not consulting firms. His career spans GE Appliances, GE Healthcare, and large-scale industrial manufacturing, with a track record measured in hundreds of deployed robots and tens of millions in documented cost reductions.
Where engagements require it, UAG draws on a carefully selected network of senior practitioners with deep domain expertise in supply chain automation, inbound material flow, AMR deployment, lean logistics, and transportation management — all operators with Fortune 500 pedigree, never generalist consultants.
Engagements are kept intentionally small so the right expertise is always directly applied to your challenge — no hand-offs to junior staff.
// Services
We engage across the full automation lifecycle — from strategy and justification through design, deployment, and operator enablement. Every engagement is scoped to deliver measurable outcomes. For supply chain, material flow, and logistics-intensive programs, UAG brings additional senior depth with hands-on experience designing and operating inbound flow systems, consolidation centers, AMR networks, and transportation management architectures at global scale.
Current-state assessment, opportunity identification, ROI modeling, and phased roadmap development aligned to operational priorities and capital planning cycles.
End-to-end robotics program leadership — from cell design and vendor selection through commissioning, safety validation, and production handoff. Proven across hundreds of deployed robots at enterprise scale.
Emulate3D-based digital twin development for line design validation, throughput analysis, and operator training — before a single piece of capital is committed.
Manufacturing Execution System design and deployment, IoT architecture, real-time production visibility, and OEE improvement programs for complex multi-site operations.
Automated material handling, ASRS, conveyor and AGV integration, and RFID-based tracking architectures for high-volume manufacturing and distribution environments.
Interim technical leadership and structured recovery planning for automation programs that have stalled, overrun, or lost organizational momentum. We've seen most failure modes before.
